Create a no-makeup look

Wanna have a natural, simple yet a star-like look... try this no makeup makeup technique...

There are times when the best makeup is one that makes you look like you have none at all. The no-makeup look is a sure winner-it is safe but never boring. It's all about naturally made-up faces-glowing skin, flushed cheeks, just-bitten pouty lips which will make you look simple, yet stunning!

1- Try to start with an oil-free moisturizer. Apply to the entire face. Let it set a few minutes.

2- Choose a concealer that gives good coverage. Using a flat, square-shaped brush, apply it ever-so-delicately directly to the uneven areas. Let it set a few seconds. Look in the mirror, if you still see redness or blue tones coming through, repeat the technique. Remember, you must use a gentle, light touch; you don't want to clump on concealer. The goal is a light painting of makeup to cover any patchiness.

3- Skip foundation, the layering on of too much product can look artificial.

4- If the concealer looks at all rough or dry, take a bit of your oil-free moisturizer and gently pat it over the concealer. Again, let it set a few seconds.

5- Use a blotting powder with a velour puff to set the concealer by softly placing it over the area. Don't drag the puff or use a brush to apply the powder, as you're liable to pull the concealer right off.

6- For the best blush, throw away the "suck in your cheeks" technique because, chances are, it won't really work unless a makeup artist does it.

7- Use a fluffy brush to sweep color all over your cheeks. Apply some on your forehead and on the bridge of your nose to make you look sun-kissed. Do this in natural light to make sure you do the job right-bathroom light tends to mislead.

8- For a perfect lip color pick a brown-pink shade. This complements perfectly all-natural lip colors. If you're on the morena side, berries will also help brighten up your sallow undertones.

Tip: Prep lips with a moisturizing balm before applying color, it prevents lips from looking dry and cracked.
